What is Airdrie Mechanical Services?

Building services specialists, based in Airdrie and covering the entirety of the U.K.

Founder Mark Sneddon launched Airdrie Mechanical Services (AMS) in 2020. With 35 years of experience in the building services industry, the time was right to establish Airdrie Mechanical Services. AMS’ core team of 15 now provides professional plumbing and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) to commercial properties across the length and breadth of the United Kingdom

Working in partnership with others to provide a complete first class building service is an important ethos at Airdrie Mechanical Services. Mark and his team have many, many years of experience and a vast network of partners in the industry, and believe that strong working relationships are the key to successful work and satisfied clients.

Theatre 7 Hairmyres Hospital

We provided Mechanical and Plumbing services to the refurbished Operating theatre at Hairmyres and refurbished the AHU that feeds the theatre in the plantroom adding a heat recovery section.

Border force facility, Grangemouth

Luddon Construction

Value - £350,000

AMS ltd carried out the Mechanical and Plumbing services to the new build facility in Forthports Grangemouth. The facility was created as first stop for Border force to monitor goods as they enter Scotland and were one of 3 new builds with the other 2 in England.

Lidl Leith refurbishment

We successfully upgraded and completed several new-build installations for Lidl, including the implementation of mechanical services to several new stores. To support the current rate of expansion and upgrades in Lidl stores, we have now provided top-quality servicing to over 14 locations, throughout the UK, in association with our partners.

AMS installed mechanical services during the modernisation of facilities at the Border force accommodation building situated within the Port of Grangemouth

Hibernian FC,
Hospitality Upgrade

Procast Building Services

Value - £230,000

During the close season AMS ltd carried out the Mechanical and plumbing upgrades to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors of the main stand at Easter Road. New hospitality venues were created to help Hibernian FC maximise match day revenues. Works were carried out over an 8 week period and all complete for the new football season beginning.
